The Summer Showdown is the ultimate tournament experience for young athletes looking to enjoy the game while improving their skills. Spanning two exciting days in late July, this event is tailored for players ready to engage in competitive yet fun games, all while ensuring fair play and equal opportunities for everyone.

This tournament is perfect for players of all skill levels. It’s an opportunity to challenge themselves, develop their game, and create lasting memories with teammates. With every game, players will experience the thrill of competition, learn to adapt, and gain confidence in their abilities as they step up to the plate and take the field.

GPC teams are formed with inclusivity in mind—no favoritism, no politics, and no cuts. Just well-coached rosters that emphasize meaningful playing time and the growth of each player. Your child will play hard, learn valuable lessons, and leave the tournament feeling more accomplished than ever.

Required: Extra Innings Pass (Player Uniform & Insurance Package)

All players must have a valid
Extra Innings Pass
to participate in the Summer Showdown. This pass ensures your athlete receives the necessary items for eligibility and insurance coverage:

• Official GPC uniform — performance jersey and fitted hat (yours to keep)
• Player insurance — required coverage for participation in all GPC events

The Extra Innings Pass only needs to be purchased once while the insurance is active. If your player already has a valid pass with current insurance coverage, there’s no need to repurchase.

This pass is not included with tournament registration and must be purchased separately if your player does not already have one.
